The cruise industry continues to grow with 50+ cruise lines operating in waters around the world today. Things aren’t slowing down either with the projected passenger volume for cruises in 2019 estimated to hit 30 million!

With all this excitement we decided to put a short list together featuring THE most impressive ships on the water right now. Whether they made the list through decadent designs or wondrous water parks these are our Top 4 Bucket List Cruise Ships!

2.) Celebrity EDGE – Celebrity Cruises

Launch Date: 2018                 Passengers:  2,908

“The ship designed to leave the future behind.”

The Celebrity EDGE takes a surprising approach on modern luxury cruising which might just catch on industry wide. Onboard almost all cruise ships operating today, bars and pool areas are all designed to look inward instead of outward at the ocean views. Celebrity EDGE challenges this tradition with colossal sweeping views and multi story open spaces that put the focus back on the ocean itself.

Celebrity Cruises and their team of A-list designers have delivered a unique cruising experience with outward facing spaces like their multi story villas and new Infinite Veranda stateroom design. The Infinite Veranda transforms your living space into a balcony with a press of a button, taking the classic cabin design to the EDGE…

Perhaps the most ambitious feature onboard the EDGE is the Magic Carpet, the world’s first cantilevered, floating platform that reaches heights of 13 stories above sea level. Basically it is a giant bar jutting out on the side of the ship, constantly changing levels like an elevator, the highlight of Celebrity’s new outward-facing vision.
