Pacific Sun Sold

Carnival Australia announced the sale of Pacific Sun after more than seven years with P&O Cruises, and half a million cruise passengers.

Her last cruise departs Brisbane 1 July 2012

In October, Carnival Australia will welcome Carnival Cruise Line’s 88,500 Tonne Carnival Spirit to sail full time from Sydney. Carnival is new to the Australian market with the emphasis on fun. I think it will do very well in the Australian market.

Since 2007, Carnival Australia’s fleet has grown from just two ships to six superliners, soon to be seven!
