Oceana is your family friendly super ocean liner from P&O Cruises, with a bustling atrium and a welcoming informal atmosphere you will feel right at home whilst onboard. Although not the newest and fanciest in the fleet Oceana was launched in 2000 but has recently undergone a multi-million dollar dry-dock refurbishment in 2017.
Now boasting new carpets, tiling, chairs, hot tubs and restaurant features, Oceana is a contemporary favourite among new to cruise and veteran cruisers alike.
Passengers can choose from a variety of free and added-fee dining options with quality presentation and choice to entice the whole family. Cruisers will be able to find all their favourite snacks and beverages also with a variety of bars and lounges found throughout the ship.
The Plaza is the ship’s main self-service buffet areaand is open from 6:30am to 2am the night before a port of call or 3am the night before a sea day.

located on the ship: Café Jardin on Deck 8 & The Beach House on Deck 14.‘Footlights’ & ‘Starlights’ sit at opposite ends of Deck 7 and host various productions from plays and revues to comedy and ventriloquist acts. On selected nights you can catch full stage productions like “Killer Queen” (a tribute to the rock band) and “Encore” (a mash-up of famous productions).
As well as the stage shows there is plenty to see and do around the ship with Karaoke, quizzes and discos kicking off at various bars on different nights. Additionally, you could always dance the night away at the elegant ‘Le Club’
‘The Reef’ is the name for the collective area for kids from tots to teens on Deck 12. Following a re-fit in 2017 adding new flooring, toys, soft play areas and modern gadgets for teens, the P&O Oceana kids program is sure to keep your little ones occupied and it’s free for all children from 2 to 17 years of age.
