What to bring to shore?

When heading onto Mare Island, ensure you bring along a hat, sunscreen, flat-soled shoes and lightweight clothe if you plan on doing a lot of walking around.

If you would simply prefer to laze by the beach and take a dip, make sure you don't forget your swimming gear, a towel and a good book. Snorlelling gear can be hired onboard if you feel like exploring the coral reef that borders the island.
